Beauty

We often look in the mirror after we wake up. What is our first thought? Most of us look at our reflection, and are repulsed at the sight of ourselves. We tell ourselves that we are ugly, that nobody likes us, that we need to be skinny, and so on. If we start the day with a negative thought, it will stay there for the rest of the day. We let that thought fester and boil to the point where it hurts so bad, we can hardly breathe. Now stop. Take a deep breath. What if the whole world was blind? Who would you impress? Today's world is all about being "beautiful". We believe that people would accept us if we weren't fat, or ugly, or if we wore just a little bit more makeup. Back to the quote. If the whole world was blind, how many people would you impress? What really matters is the beauty from within. We all have divine capabilities to become beautiful, light, and kind. We can be beautiful by the words we speak and the acts we do. We are all also beautiful on the outside. The worlds definition of beauty is all about how much makeup you wear, or how expensive the clothes you wear are. Think of it this way. We are all diamonds. We are all different sizes, shapes and colors. We may be smaller than the big flashy diamonds, but we are still diamonds. We are still beautiful. There is as many types of beautiful as the number of people on this earth. We all have our own unique beauty. So next time you step up to the mirror, start your day with, I'm beautiful. You are one of a kind, and no matter who you are, you are beautiful. Remember that.

How to Define Yourself

Be careful how you characterize yourself. Don’t characterize or define yourself by some temporary quality...We have our agency, and we can choose any characteristic to define us. But we need to know that when we choose to define ourselves or to present ourselves by some characteristic that is temporary or trivial in eternal terms, we de-emphasize what is most important about us and we overemphasize what is relatively unimportant. Don't Let the World Define You

Hey guys! Welcome to my blog! This is my Individual Worth Project. For my first post, I would like to post a wonderful article. This article reminds us that what others think about us doesn't matter. Other people do not define us, we must create our own definition. Enjoy!!
