The 30 Day Challenge: Next Seven Days
Hello everyone!! Tomorrow will start our next set of challenges!! Please try to accomplish one of these every day! I hope you enjoy!!
Monday: Wear modest and be modest!
What we wear and how we act reflects our values. I want to challenge you today to wear shorts that pass your finger tips, shirts with sleeves, and shirts that you cannot look down. Modesty is about the messages we send to the world through our appearance and our actions. Emma Watson, our favorite Harry Potter actress, stated, "The less you reveal, the more people can wonder." Now I'm not trying to tell you that clothes are a device to attract attention. I believe that people will be more impressed, and respectful when you respect your body by covering up. Now, I'm asking you to do this for a day, but if you want to go the extra mile, try this for a the week. Maybe even the rest of the month! For those of you who already wear modest clothing, check yourself. Are the clothes you are wearing really living up to your standards? Are your shorts maybe just a little short? Thanks guys!!
Tuesday: Look Up.
Today be grateful. Look at the little things. Notice the little blessings in your life. Try to be kind, caring, charitable, and accepting.
Wednesday: Prepare goals for the future
In your journal make a list of your hopes and dreams for your future home, family, and education and some important things you would like to accomplish in your life, including becoming a wife and mother. Then write a plan that will help you achieve your goals.
Thursday: Forgive
Today is an important day. We often get angry when someone wrongs us... who doesn't?? But when we get angry, we can cause an even bigger problem. If we hold on to our anger, our anger can become us. If we let it fester and boil, we will always be angry. Today I want you to forgive others, and not just give forgiveness, seek it.
Friday: 5 hugs a day, that's the minimum.
Give at least 5 people a hug today! Tell the people you love that you love them!!!
Saturday: Honesty and Integrity
Dishonesty harms you and harms others as well. If you lie, steal, shoplift, or cheat, you damage your spirit and your relationships with others. Being honest will enhance your future opportunities. Be honest at school; choose not to cheat in any way. Be honest in your job, giving a full amount of work for your pay. Do not rationalize that being dishonest is acceptable, even though others may think it does not matter.
Sunday: Do something you love!
What better way to feel good than to do something you love!!
Okay!! Thanks everybody! Please comment your progress! I'd love to hear how this has helped you! Love you guys!

30 Day Challenge: First Seven Days!
Okay everyone! Good morning! Are you ready to start this weeks challenges? I sure am. Okay so please try to do one each day! Remember you can start this whenever you want, but I encourage you to start today.
Often we don't realize our gifts or even just nice things about our personalities. Give someone a compliment, and let them know that there is someone who loves and realizes their potential. We often even realize our own gifts by acknowledging others. This does not mean to be envious of someone's talents, because we all have our own.
3. Write down a list of talents you would like to develop, then pick one and strive to develop it for the next week.
We all have hidden talents that we have yet to discover!!
4. Create a list of values you would like yourself to live up to. Make a goal to try to follow those standards.
Lie: Your worth is determined by looking and acting in the world’s way.
Truth: Following good standards builds a sense of eternal worth.
Try to come up with values that will make you a better person. Like having friends with good values, listening to good music, or having chastity.
5. Do 5 acts of service. They can be small or big.
Many people feel they are so ordinary that they cannot make a significant contribution in this life. But we all have been sent to earth with an important mission to perform.
6. Write down your talents in your journal, or on a piece of paper.
If you say you have no talents you are wrong. No this is not vain, and I want you to realize that talents aren't just having a great voice. Talents can be kindness, listening, and understanding.
7. Make a list of good qualities you see in others around you. These qualities are not necessarily things like physical qualities. Then try to develop one of these qualities in yourself.
Okay! Here are this weeks challenges! Please report your progress, and tell us how this has helped you! Thank you! I love you guys!
- Create a Music Playlist of Songs that Give You a Good Feeling. Music is very influential in our lives. Listening to certain music can bring us down, and give us misconceptions about ourselves. I would try to choose songs that make you feel good about yourself and others. Here is a list of songs that I believe we should all have on our devices.
- Lovely by Sarah Haze
- Beautiful For Me by Mercy River
- Child of Light by Mindy Gledhill
- Inside by Jessie Clark Funk
- My Story by Kaity Whitcomb
- Never Be Another by Jenny Frogley
- Somebody Else's Shoes by Cherie Call
- The Ocean in Me by Cherie Call
- Feather in the Wind by Mindy Gledhill
